Our Process

How food is prepared matters as much as what it is made from.

At Vidhi Veda, our processes are rooted in traditional wisdom and guided by patience. We follow methods that prioritise balance, nourishment, and integrity — even when they demand more time and effort.

The Principles That Guide Us

Every step in our preparation follows a few essential principles. These principles determine not just how our products are made, but why we choose to make them this way.

Slow by Choice

We work in small batches, allowing time and attention at every stage.

Traditional by Practice

Our methods are drawn from time-tested Indian food traditions.

Responsible by Design

We prioritise safety, hygiene, and consistency without altering natural processes.

Traditional Ghee Method

How Our A2 Bilona Ghee Is Made

Our ghee follows the traditional bilona method — a slow process that begins with curd, not cream.

From Milk to Curd

Milk from native A2 cows is gently cultured into curd. This step forms the foundation of the bilona process.

Hand Churning (Bilona)

The curd is hand-churned using the bilona method to separate butter slowly and naturally.

Slow Heating

The butter is gently heated to extract ghee, preserving its aroma, texture, and natural balance.

Different foods require different methods. We follow the process each one deserves.

How Our Cold-Pressed Oils Are Made

Cold-pressing is a gentle extraction method that preserves the natural character of oilseeds.

Seed Selection

Seeds are chosen for freshness, quality, and suitability for traditional extraction.

Low-Temperature Pressing

Seeds are pressed slowly at controlled low temperatures to prevent nutrient loss.

Natural Settling & Filtration

The oil is allowed to settle naturally before light filtration, avoiding chemical refining.

The result is oil that behaves like food — not a processed ingredient.

Process & Quality Assurance

While our methods are traditional, our responsibility is modern. Every batch is prepared in controlled conditions and tested to meet food safety and quality standards before it reaches your kitchen.

Tradition Is Not the Past. It Is a Practice.

At Vidhi Veda, we honour that practice with patience, consistency, and care.
